Well I have made up my mind to buy a rampage monster truck. I guess they wont have any to ship until February, so I thought I could round up some crap I need for upgrades until then. I have tried to read everything on here that I could find about servos and radios, my eyes are starting to bleed, I have always bought RTR nitro stuff cause I don't know jack about servos and radios and all the electrical junk, but I guess with a rampage I'm going to have to dive in and learn. So far I understand I will need 2 Hitec 5755 steering servos and a Hitec 5645 throttle/brake servo, Is that right??????? A killer bee kill switch is highly recomended, will that work with the stock radio????? enough questions for now, you guys are gonna get tired of all the up coming questions from me but your going to have to walk me through this one. Thanks
 
i don't believe the killerbee will work with the stock radio, could be wrong. They def work with futaba and specktrum although you have to use the killerbee vs2 for a specktrum radio. The servos are correct. And stick with the reg model, I have the pro and all it the metal does is weigh more and bend parts instead of breaking them which is even more annoying and expensive to fix.
 
Rpking if thas the case then I have a used v2 to sell if you want. I know it works with futaba and apparently with the redcat radio. I have a v2s with my spektrum radio. Pm me
 
Thanks for the info I have a rc car magazine with a 2.4GHZ radio buyers guide revew and the Airtronics MX-sport and the Futaba 3pl look pretty good. they are within $15.00 of eachother the Airtronics is a 3 channel and the Futaba is a 4 channel. Will the killer b work with these? I don't need a radio for 10 different models memory or model naming hell to be honest I don't even know what it means can I name one truck frank and another model sarah I don't know I told you i was stupid when it came to this crap I just want to be able to have a good radio that will accept a kill switch and work with some hitech servos I guess I will go to my LHS and ask some stupid questions and make an ass out of myself hell I do that everyday who cares Thanks, more bable and stupid questions to follow
