here a mod i that i used ages ago on my baja, pricing and links are in aud but it give you part numbers and im sure it will save you money where every you are
i used to break a few of these
HPI 86411 Ball 10x25mm
HPI 86412 Ball 10x34mm
and at the cost of $27 for 4 short ones and $33 for for long ones ouch...
i was out bashing with some one and i bust one again, and we only had a couple of spare shock shafts and my spare bolt box, so the idea came about to use the ball ends out of the shock shafts top or bottom work and use some spare bolts, the shock balls fit nicly into the steering turn buckles
HPI #86417 Ball 10x12mm and use a m4 x 25 bolts hpi part number HPI #94510 with a m4 HPI#Z684 lock nut to keep me bashing, this is the parts im talking about
most guys have spare shockies and spare bolts/nuts so its cheap and quick mode to do to keep you bashing longer, bafter i kept breaking the HPI 86412 Ball 10x34mm i used this mod on all of my steering tunbuckels ends and carred the spare bolts as it was cheaper to replace a 0.37 cent bolt then it was to replace a $27 or $33 ball ends as you have to buy them in packs of 4.
but i here some of you saying i don't have spare ball ends from the shocks but its still saving you between $10 and $16 to buy all the new parts to repare one of more broken HPI 86412 Ball 10x34mm HPI 86411 Ball 10x25mm.
so if you need to fix or replace one or more of the balls in the first pictures and want to save the cost of buying the $27 or $33 in packs of 4, i sugest buy these parts listed about you still will save between $10 and $16, but i will sugest to carry a few extra m4 x 25 bolts hpi part number HPI #94510 incase you brake on bend break a bolt but like i said it cost under 0.40 cents to replace a bolt unlike the other option.
there are the list of parts you will need if you don't have spare bolts, balls and lock nuts it comes to the total of $17.28

you can even use cheaper locknuts if you want to save another $3.15 but the other lock nuts work well and have more meat to hold onto.
