Got a new rampage Mt and have decided I Would like to buy some things to get me some more power out of it as well as give me something to work on.


So far I have decided on a jetpro side


Would a clutch and air filter be the next step ?


Anyone have suggestions on what is working great for you


Also going to swap out the steering and throttle servos , put in a kill switch


And would like to stick a lipo in it , what's a good size 7.4 to put in ?


Feedback would be greatly appreciated if Any one has the chance
 
I run a Dt1 duel stage air filter with a tall velocity stack and a 8k clutch and have been happy with both so far.Better airflow and protection and the clutch gives you a better punch of the start
 
ddm side pipe and baja filter...8k clutch will definitely help with off the line performance.. the mt can be a bit of a dog off the line with the 6k depending on the mods you're running
 
I run a cpi pipe k&n air filter (no sand here to run in) a walbro 813 carb. 7500 rpm clutch spring, belt drive and I put a big bore kit on it with a 2mm stuffer crank. This truck is a monster and soo much fun.
 
Help engine break down

OK ANY INFO ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT I WAS LOOKING AT THE HEAD ON THE MOTOR ITS FOR A MT VER 3 SHOULD BE A 30 CC . tHE HEAD ONLY HAS 2 BOLTS SO THAT MEANS ? a FOUR BOLT HEAD KIT WONT FIT

DOES EVERY ONE ELSE WHO HAS A MT VER 3 HAVE A 30 CC WITH 2 BOLT HEAD ?

I JUST BOUGHT IT USED BUT RARLEY USED LIKE NEW BUT THE MOTOR GOT ME A LITTLE CONCERNED !!!

WANTED TO GET A HEAD KIT FOR IT BUT UNSURE WHAT TO REALLY BUY ?

You will need to buy a two bolt head kit and they are available from davesmotors and OBR has them as well. I got my MT in Dec. and it has a two bolt 30cc engine. I would go with OBR, just bought a pro stock from them.

They are good little engines. When tuned right they will run a good long time.
