anyone using a gopro camera just wondering if they are worth the money.

I've seen many vids on here using the Gopro. They always look really clear.

yes worth every penny!! I use mine for mountain bike rides, RC, and in my old track race car.

I also have a go pro... I use it for scuba diving. So far I can confirm it is waterproof to at least 100 feet. Also, I found the camera on a dive in about 40 feet of water. I don't know how long it had been there, but the case had stuff growing on it. I took it to the house, took the camera out of the case, and it turned right on... I trust it...

Everything others said, +1....also, if you won't be using the waterproof case as being waterproof, you should drill a few small holes in the case near the microphone, it allow the sound to come through more clearly. Others have removed the gasket and say the sound improves a whole lot.

I liked what I saw with his camera setup so I went out and bought one for my cars.

Like Marcus said though, if you mount it on the roll cage, you get a better video. I mounted mine to the top of my XB-E and it is a little shaky but still a good video. Here's a video of it running around a parking lot. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t3vo2QVCvk[/ame]
