Got a few things in yesterday....

I'm the kind of guy that will run things til they break and replace them with upgraded stuff. I purchased a couple items that I feel are necessities and not upgrades.

I ordered a TGN DT1- Dome triple stage filter. I don't trust the K&N filter that came with the truck so I'm selling it and replacing it with this one. Thinking back, I could have just bought the non-K&N version, but I really like the body.

Ordered the Bigger box from Killer RC. Looks and works well, but it's not a perfect fit. The receiver box fits great, but the battery box needs a bit of help. Pics show what I mean.

MY hand pressure isn't enough to seat it well enough to clip.


Used a set of pliers to apply enough pressure to fit the clip. This doesn't bother me at all as I know the fitment is snug.

I also ordered the Killer Bee fail safe. I don't trust the Tx/Rx so I'm going to purchase one tomorrow morning and break this bad boy in. My son will get the old Tx/Rx Thanks for checking it out.

Installed the Killer RC and broke her in today. It was just around the neighborhood, but man this thing nose dives like crazy.

I'm going to change the springs and go with smaller holes inside with thinner oil. I'll post pics when I do it. If that doesn't fix it enough I'll probably end up getting the 5ive front shocks.

BTW, I ordered a 30.5 modded engine from Oneill with a Jetpro pipe. I always like to run things stock first and make adjustments to my liking as I go.

I think I'm going to put the stock motor in on of those cheapy KM Baja rollers for my son. He'll have a blast with it. Up until now, he's only run 2WD electric.
