Here is my front plate done with 2"x1/8 aluminum.

I had problems with head gaskets and finally got a copper gasket and made this. I think this brace is a good idea because it takes pressure off the head I also rubber mounted the front mount.

this is the rear mounts my brother and I came up with. They work! This ramp is super rigid now no flex. I don't weld and can't afford machine shop rates so I try to make parts


like a cave man. LOL! At least they work.

Cool man that is the first step to saving driveline parts that and tempering outdrives will make your redcat ready for big HP.

Take them to a local heat treat shop is the easy and best way. I got all my metal parts done for $90 at my local heat treat shop.


Mooman did his with a torch that would be the second option.
