Good spot.
If I'm not mistaken, it's been mentioned on MS-UK Forum and they highlighted that it's DSM2.
Some of the older sets won't work with it.

I think another mentioned that for 'a nominal fee' Horizon Hobby could upgrade the same Tx to DSM2.

james it is only compatible with the later DSM2 transmitters

the new transmitters and older transmitters look the same

if yours is the later one (V2) it will have a little sticker on it saying

DSM2...marine...surface the sticker is on the back of the transmitter

Horizon do a $50 software upgrade for the older transmitter,but its not

available here in england
