Any one re-greased the diffs on their Evo3. Which grease did you use and how much did you put in?
I read a thread about using silicon grease and filling them up full at the front and half at the rear, has anyone tried it?
Cheers Matt.

Hey Matt,
I use white lithium grease or bearing/axle grease. It's always worked fine. Just remember that the thicker you use the less you diff will slip. This is ok if its what you are going after though..

To tell you the truth, in the actual diff itself I would use diff oil. Use a 20,000 weight and you will be good. Not too thick and not too thin, just right.
I have used grease as well but now i use diff oil.

Cheers Chris, Doesn't the oil leak out then? Do you use R/C oil or is there a automotive oil I can use?
I was thinking of putting grease nipples on the housings to pump grease in.
Matt.

Moved from another thread.......

The diff oil is used inside to LSD (Limited slip diff). It should be sealed with an O-ring and won't leak. Once that is done, place it in the LSD housing with the bearings, and then dab some grease on the gears. A little goes a long way. Close it up, and you're done. No need for grease nipples.
