Do you have a remote killswitch? Check the plug color after doing a few passes and remote killing it at WOT. HBF has a really nice sticky on plug color.

maybe a little rich on top, might be just a slight tune issue? a slight high speed needle turn, 1/16th leaner might do it... or have you tuned it and it's something else?

It almost sounds to me like a loose exhaust. Ive had that happen where the exhaust bolts get loose and the exhuast breathed straight into the air instead of through the pipe. it also sounds to me like losing compression. Those are 2 very easy things to check.

Im naming some things I would check. I check this piston/cylinder occasionally anyways so it never hurts when your having a weird running issue. Its best to use a new cylinder gasket for reassembly (they are cheap).

1. check compression and inspect gasket for blow out

2. remove cylinder head.

3. check head, piston, ring for scoring

4. check pug color while your at it.

5. look for anything out of place

Also before you check these things check your H and L. I had one carb that the H kept backing out of which makes it really rich. Check your air filter too. When I have something wrong like you do I just keep checking.

Yes i was going down the list but stoped when i took the air filter off. seems the top part of the filter spins while the engine is in motion. while it was spining a loose screw on the roll cage was making its indention on the filter. so mutch that seriuos amount of dirt went ito the engine. needless to say, it will be down for even longer. i have a 28.5 kit just waiting for a pipe to go with it.
