As most of you know I detest nitro....wasted too much money and time with them..
But I love my trusty old Dominator....so it was overdue to resurrect it as brushless...

How it was in the begining..

How it is now after converting to brushless and deannodizing...

And a vid from a few weeks back...

No more nitro for me...EVER..
It's way quicker and faster than when it was nitro...running 3s....
On 4s it's just plain stupid..:w00t:

Looking nice.
How's the weight - lighter / heavier?
Weight distribution - much the same or have you been able to adapt to make even more stable?
How's the temperatures? ESC, motor, cables?
Which system are you using - didn't recognise the ESC / motor?

Have you nuked the slipper yet? (I have to have my E-Maxx clamped tight or it's like a 1:1 car with slipping clutch and resultant smell!!:lol:)

looking good ross, i love the 1,8th buggys there just so tuff i had a hyper7 got fed up trying to tune it and sold it on, but brushless is a cool idea ,to be honest i think a lot of people have a nitro 1st then a gasser then electric it seems a lot less hassle.

The weight is the same as when it was nitro with the 3s on board....with 4s it's about 100 grams heavier..
I have the weight distribution central with 3s..
Temps on the esc and motor are around 50 deg c on both 3s & 4s...
The esc is the HobbyKing 150 amper....was only 60 bucks..
The motor is from Psyclone hobbies...36/74....2370kv..pushing 3hp on 4s..

No slipper on this beastie....direct drive...

Good to hear bud...ya can't have too many leccys.....
Lemme guess......is it 1/8 scale??? running on 4s???

I hope it isn't another BSD......do you know what BSD stands for???

Bull Shite Design:lol:
