Well I was driving the baja for a while today till I hit a tree. I saw the tree, hit the breaks, buggy went side ways and the tree hit right on my pull start! So now I need a pull start, fan cover, and flywheel. But I did have fun, one of the longest runs I have done, not because of problems with it, just I was somewhere new and had more room and more trees haha. This expensive rebuild cost, makes me interested in this skid plate:

gutted for ya mate! looks like it was a hard impact too. is the chassis rail ok? hope you get it up n running pronto :) and watch them trees lol..

yea i think the chassis is good to go, i recently sold a 1/10 sedan on ebay and was going to use that money for some upgrades/maintenance items for the buggy, but now I get to use it for getting it back up and running, o well haha.
 
That one hell of a hit!!
I've a little tree stump just where I 'bash' outside the house, and despite living there, and having fallen victim to it on several occasions, I still get close.
It's like some form of magnetic attraction between trees and RC's !!!! :D:(:p:(:D
