Had my mt out today and ran it probably harder than I ever have haha,needless to say its all apart now.broke a diff cup (minor problem) and somehow snap the head off of an exhaust bolt the bolt is still in the head (gonna have to try to drill it out) all in all it was a fun time :)
 
Do you temper the diff cups? Once I started doing it my diff cups stopped snapping. Am not running and small motors here
 
To temper the diff cups you heat up the shaft and let it cool. Gheres a video on you tube but my phones slow so just type in tempering rampage diff cups
 
I haven't tryed tempering them but I think I'm going to when the new ones come,good idea!

I snapped 3 cvd's in a 2 hour period the day I put the 8k 990 and intake on lol it's always the front end the rear end in my truck is solid and takes a beating as its running 2wd 70% of the time haha

Does it pull the front wheels? in 2 wheel drive!
 
It's always the front left hand side that snaps for some reason so I've ran it rear wheel drive when I had to and lemme tell ya with Dom pipe 8k clutch 990 carb and the intake it's pretty crazy rwd haha but I would say if I ran it that way constantly it would break the rearend
