Hard time starting. Vacuum in fuel tank.

I've been having a hard time starting the engine.


I've noticed that when I squeeze the priming bulb, is stays compressed and I cannot start the engine.


Only way to get it started again, is if I unscrew the gas cap to equalize the vacuum and then I can prime the bulb normally and it starts up fine.


Is this normal?

Yes it is a common problem.

You need to vent the fuel tank.

need to put in a better breather system like snappy rc sells or just open the vent in the gas cap a touch more
