i can get a really good deal on a used harmon road car. i live in the US, are parts easy to get or do i gotta intl ship everything. are fg parts interchangable??

I have an older Harm SX3 that I'm rebuilding and a couple of FG cars. I just acquired the Harm, and so far It looks like the Diff, clutch bell, bearings, lay shaft, gears may interchange. I say that cautiously because I have not measured any of the harm parts.

Parts are hard to get in USA for Harm, better to go FG.

If you go with FG and you are stuck look up Advance hobbies in Toronto. They have dealt with FG for over 20 years and have lots of new and older parts.
