Hey guys has anyone purchased a Baja 5t from Lithuania? I bought one, for a buy it now price that was pretty cheap anyway just let me know.

I'm sorry to let you know, but it sounds like you got scammed. Please post the Ebay auction item #. Just so I could verify if it looks like the similar ads I seen that I was tempted to purchase also.

Let me guess the description. Verylightly used 5T, would be able to pass as new. Most ads I seen, no body was included, claimed it was damaged when it was shipped. On some ads, a black 5T body looks pristine also. This 5T is basically all stock with no aftermarket mods. At the most I remember, only 2 tanks of fuel was ever used, if that. Most ads I seen came with a sob story of how the seller needs the money for an emergency situation that came up. And all of the ads I seen the Buy it Now price was around $300, or no more than $400. All of the ads I seen the seller was from Lithuania and a feedback score of either 0 or at the most less than 5. The ones with 5 were all for cheap items. All Ebay usernames were either fairly new(created on the day of auction) or just over a month old.

The pics taken outdoors don't look familiar. I don't remember seeing the body being torn up in the back half. But the other pics looks familiar. The rig being so clean. The one pic that stood out for me was the pic of the exhaust. I remember the others scam auctions, the aluminum tailpipe was missing, just like this one. It could be a coincidence. Hell, even the font used in the ad looks similar as most ads use the regular font for the description. I hate to say it but, I say this ad just wreaks scam. In a week or so please tell me I am wrong, because I hate to see honest people go through this sort of bull$hit.

It's ok like I said if it doesn't come, or is a scam I can say that :rolleyes:I learned my lesson. I will file a case with eBay who said I will definately get my money back. This just shows that if its to good to be true it probably is, and that I just gotta pay a little more for what I want. Oh well hopefully it isnt and I get it if not I learned a big lesson. At least my wife is ok with it.

$320 for a truck that costs 4 times that new in the USA? You got scammed for sure, look at the pics, its of a brand new, never run vehicle. That thing is too clean to have been run at all.

Smokin' deals are out there. You just have to know where to look and most of all be patient. I paid around $490 for a new 5BSS kit.

Again to the OP, please post up the outcome. I sure hope you prove me wrong.

I sure hope so to. Supposed to get it by 1st of December it was supposed to be a christmas gift from my wife oh well we will see and ill post up the outcome.

If I am not mistaken, you have 30 days from the end of auction until to file a claim with Ebay. Not sure about Paypal though, but I would think it's the same since Ebay bought Paypal a few years ago. I believe it is the same with credit cards as well. So hopefully the item was paid for with a credit card through Paypal. Just so you have more options to file a claim as one will eventually be approved.

so did you ever get your truck? don't tell us , we all already know...hows the claims process going?
