Has anyone painted their own Losi DBXL body panels

Which means when you go to paint it, it's going to look like crap. Smoke buy another body . You're better off that way. There is no doing this hobby cheaply unfortunately.

eah I know it’s not cheap. Not worried about buying a new body for it but seems the only ones I can find are the k&n. I kind of want something different you know what I mean.

Will the dbxl e panels work on the dbxl gas? Is it the same cage and mounting spots besides the cutout for the air filter?

Then I can order the clear dbxl e panels for $150 and paint those if these original ones turn out like crap after I strip them. I’m going to go white and blue I think. I ordered a wing and it came with white and blue Losi stickers and they look pretty damn good

Yep they just lack the cut out doe the filter. That's easy enough to cut put for.
