Has anyone tried mixing some nitro in?

My boy tried nitro in the 47cc 2 stroke mini bike and he just about locked the motor but it did run faster for alittle while. I have seen that guys are using colemen lantern fuel in the 2 strokes and they run alot cooler

the sickest 2-stroke moters are mod chain saws, they do it with compresion, not mixed fuel, mixed fuel will turn a small 2-stroke into a glo motor, run like hell but you will not be able to shut it of,

That means you are running too hot. Your spark plug stays red hot not letting the motor shut off. You're too lean.


you can't just put nitro in without richening up the mixture to compensate.


you'll obviously smoke the motor if you don't richen up.

all good points, alcahol adds matanence, like a glow motor you have to run after run oil, n.o.s. ya i run it every weekand in my jeep. you have to retard timing wich leads to power loss when you are not on the button, also engines get idicted to n.o.s. and seem lazy with out it,
