Been away at the 2012 European championship and WOW what an event to be a part of.
Won by Dario Vaselli from Croatia driving and FG Leopard. It was an awsome week of racing and socialising which was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Teams from 13 Nations driving Elcon, Hoermann, Contrast, Model concept, MCD, FTX, Losi and of course FG. There was also great support from Rossendale models, PG Racing, Robitronic and RN tuning with shops on site and others like LS Tuning from Holland not to mention Lazslo Gal from Modelcargo/Samba who gave me a prototype rear exit pipe to test for them and all I can say is that the difference is phenomenal giving even more life to an already stonkingly good Oddified 26cc red top, the pipe wasn't a great deal louder according to the sound meter readings trackside and I've no doubt they will be going into full production very soon as will the new side pipe thats being sent to me this week. I was also given a new 2 stage filter from LS Tuning

I used the filter all through qualifying and the finals and after looking at the engine when I got home, there isn't the slightest bit of dirt inside and considering the surface had just been relayed with 10 tons of sand - it's quite an achivement.
Have a look at the site, it's well worth it and I hope to be getting one of the engines to test soon.
It does get dirty

New Samba pipe

The production pipe will have the outlet near the shock tower as it reduces the setting posibilities of the shocks as it is.

I also swapped the Savox servos for the Futaba BLS352 servos because I felt they were not performing that well in the extreme heat which seemed to be the case with the savox users in Valencia at the LS on road euros.

Also at the event was Mr Zenoah (the world wide sales manager) who was chatting to everyone in the pits and he along with all the other FG drivers, signed the cast on my 2 year old sons arm - he was very impressed.
I'll stick some links to videos and pics soon.
On another note, there was a great deal of swearing and modifying of a certain type of engine used by 2 of the best multiscale drivers, it turns out that the engine are an over priced paper weight as I've said and the 2 drivers ended up using engines from other tuners at the meeting - with good sucess.
