actually it is a gyro, just setup for drifting. a few guys tried them on a couple bajas. mixed results. some like it, others didnt.

If you watch the video, it doesn't appear to be a gyro. It helps control the steering servo. As the back of the vehicle kicks out, the "Box" adjusts the steering servo to bring it back in line. I thought it looked pretty cool!

It actually is a gyro. We ran out of Dboxes at our shop and when I finished my one of my cars, I couldnt control it at high speeds. Someone recommended a Dbox and when I told him that we didnt have anymore, he told me to use a heli gyro. I tried it and it worked just the same. Some of the drift guys that have drift sessions in our parking lot also use regular gyros when they cant find Dboxes.

OK, If it is a Gyro, how does it cause the steering servo to move? I know how a Gyro works, I used to have a .46 heli. So I am well aware what a Gyro does... But if you watch the first 30 seconds of the posted video, you will see, when the back of the car moves away, the steering servo compensates for this... I guess I don't understand how a Gyro could do this?? See what I am getting at? I am not trying to start a fight by any means, I am just confused...
