well had a go at deanodising today as you do:lol::lol:got the caustic soda from b&q (wow good stuff):w00t:
got my buckets ready,1 with soapy water and the other with the caustic mix (125g of caustic soda to 1liter of cold water) just done some parts for now.:)

got the bug now so will try and do the rest during the week..:)
well happy with result.
 
Not bad for just over 3M NaOH. (3 molar).
You should be able to go up to 25-30% w/v without problem, not just 12.5%.
Nice job, just hope you washed it away with plenty of water - don't want any local rats dying now do you? :lol::lol::lol::lol:

thanks al, washed it down the drain the plenty of water...
 
nice 1 pau :cool:l, gettin some caustic of one of the lads on here to do the same, been bored this week as i've not got anything to do on the cars. Need to have some breakages. :lol::lol:
