I am curious about something. I have 2 solo engines and was wondering if the cy/zenoah heads will fit... I have a 23 cc cy head sitting here to test but thought I would ask first and see if anyone else has tried.


my engines run fine right now and am happy with the power, but when it comes time to rebuild I'd like to know what my options are... I've allready been looking at the totally done out 4 bolts. I want to stay 23cc as we are all going to stick to that to keep things fair so to speak...
 
Confused is solo a company name im not sure what your asking i do know that you can put a cy head on a zenoah and vice versa
 
solo is an old fg motor. im not sure if you could mate it up but the solo porting is gobs better then the cy, but im not sure if the lower skirt would mate properly, and the same with zenoh

its probly going in an on-road, so a big mill will have a reverse effect.. too much torche, not enough traction and less rpms


if the cy mills do mach up ok then i would have them ported and it would rock
 
ya, I don't want more power. I haven't been able to get it up to full revs yet. adding a pipe shortly... I am just thinking about the future.. I might have to break down and pull the head and see if ring and piston would fit anyway.. I've opened zenoahs and cy's but never had need to open this one .... can't see the bolts to get away with measuring.


I took off the pull start cover to put the pb kill switch on and the mag has screw on connections not the plugs... so paid for something I have to cut off LOL. flywheel is different... it's red!! I just wonder what my future options are because I have 2 of them.


I wish we would have taken vids earlier because I had some runs getting close to top revs and it was scary fast. I have stock clutch spring in the semi. I have a brand new clutch and red spring but that'll be for when I add the car trailer.


we have a few guys running offroads with on road tires and it's run what you brung. really if a person wanted to put whatever in the car we wouldn't care... bring it. it's a challenge to get the power down. we haven't been cleaning the lots. even water hazards lol it gets tricky when the tires get wet. racing is in the future, but it's just as fun getting a few going and just chase race. talkin smack, laughing and driving for hours...


and I have a 29cc ported kit/stuffed stroker crank at ddm and nothing to use it in. we are going to run the redcat rally cars stock too. or maybe do some drifting ;) but I like the faster drifting, it's scarier hehe
