Ok. looks like its coming back apart. Also The 8000rpm clutch spring. I had to drill out the holes in the clutch plate to fit the spring thru. The wire on the spring is thicker and didnt fit...

Nope. Drilled out the holes. Trimmed the gasket. People say just a pipe makes a night and day difference. Wow. Just the thinner gasket..... And im still on the stock carb and can. Now its time for 2 x ports on the stock can to slow the pulse timing a bit.... Maybe a taller intake too.. Some shock oil tuning and diff tuning in the near future. Any one know what oil weights are use from factory??

And if a moderator could do me a favor and rename this tread to "My Mt project" and move to the projects part of the forum would be great...

It's a mystery to me. It seems like a 25-30wt to me. I went with a 40wt and it seemed a bit stiffer.

Sweet. Let us know how it runs! Which X-ports are you going to run? They have them in different lengths.

I've been looking for a large x port myself. Everyone seems to be out.

It says it only fits the x-can but looks like the other brands would work to, or no?
Bolt pattern works for all the pipes. The x port pushes the whole pipe back the length of the x port. This may cause mounting issues for the pipe.

I am using it to lengthen the header on my custom rear Dom.

Gotta wait till fri' But I am curious to see what difference it makes with the stock can. I wish that the stocker came apart so i can gut it like the chain saw pipes do.

Looks cool let us know what happens with performance.
It wont give me any gain. It will keep me from having to do anymore welding on the pipe. The less silicone tube the more the pipe should hold its original properties.

You can gut it. Take the can off, get some needle nose pliers and start pulling that crap out from the back.

Made a boboo today. Tightened coil bolt too far and "SNAPP". Couldent get bolt out without damaging threads. Are we able to get stock heads for these? Or are upgrades the only option?
