Hello,

While waiting for my MT with the stock 26cc CY engine I am researching for a head kit.

Would someone please point me to a resource or explain the difference in these:

cc252+dd3x - RACE PORTED CY 35mm 29cc Big-Bore Combo Kit $120.00

ca486+dd30x - CY 29cc Big-Bore Kit $89.00

ca486+dd308 - CY 29cc Big-Bore Kit $89.00

ca486+dd312 - CY 29cc Big-Bore kit w/Stuffed Crank $99.00

and if I decide to go with the 27.2 whats with all this Stuffed and Stroked business...

cc259+dd308 - ESP Modified 27.2cc Big-Bore Combo Kit 3.75 HP w/2mm Stroker $137.00

cc259+dd312 - ESP Modified 27.2cc Big-Bore Combo Kit 3.75 HP w/ 2mm Stuffer Stroker $154.00

cc259+dd3x - ESP Modified 27.2cc Big-Bore Combo Kit 3.75 HP $99.00

- with or without 2mm Crank Stuffed or not???

cc258+dd3x - ESP Modified/ ESP CHAMPIONSHIP PORTED Zenoah 27.2cc Cylinder kit $149.00

- with or without 2mm Crank Stuffed or not???

Not going to race with it just looking for the extra power...

thanks for the knowledge and recommendations...

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with the ONB stuff, my LHS is a DDM dealer and I will order from them...(I'm pretty hard core about supporting the shop, they are really great...

Still want to know what the differences are though...Must have a reason they sell them stuffed and unstuffed, with or without crank....Can anyone shed some light?

also, I don't think I want to go full 30.5 Ported etc. I read it's like a Flux on 6s, break things fast and often *I am a crappy driver..lol...that's why I was thinking the 29cc race ported combo, but I don't even know what that really means.

A stuffed crank is basically a crank that has been filled with a light material, which reduces case volume. Essentially, when you reduce case volume, you increase pressure. The more pressure you create, the more HP you'll get. Stuffed cranks also have some material (Not a lot) removed before it is filled to help balance them.

A stroker motor is basically when you increase motor displacement by increasing crank throw. When you increase crank throw, you increase stroke (Hence "stroker"). When you increase stroke, you increase torque.

With a stroker motor, you will lose RPM's, but gain torque. A stuffed crank you won't lose RPM's and you'll have improved throttle response.

Pretty much nailed it right there. VERY good and informative post!

Thanks! that's awesome...I get it completely.

I think I'm gonna go for the:

cc252+dd3x - RACE PORTED CY 35mm 29cc Big-Bore Combo Kit

But still not sure if I should add the stuffed crank *only 10- but have read once or twice they can cause issues or something.

does the mt get more power once you run it a little friends got one and he says he can hold on to the rear bumper with his finger and it wont even pull away?
