Head kit

Hey got a question yet again haha.putting another ddm order in shortly and in that I want to get a head kit http://www.davesmotors.com/cc253 that's the one I'm thinking.so do I need the crank and everything or just the head piston etc.will that piston work with a stock crank? Also is there anything else I should have if I get this kit? Thanks

Oh also what power gains would expect? Or should I just wait and get the flowsystem 36cc motor ( I think that's what it was) or a different motor.

I ordered the same kit and no you don't need the crank. I also got the reinforced gasket set

Just the 2 bolt reinforced set? Part no be170? Also can you tell me did it make a big differance? I'm runnin the dom pipe and gettin 8k clutch and 990 carb too

You do not need the crank, but you really don't want to run the reinforced gasket because it is too thick your squish specs will be way off! When I installed mine I used the zen 2 bolt gasket which is what Doug the maufacturer of the head suggests it measured .015 and I had a squish that was not even close to specs so now I run a .005 copper gasket and works great, you are mounting this on a 30.5 motor correct?

It will be going on the stock 30cc hy motor,with dom pipe and 990 carb.do you by chance know the part no for the gasket you suggest I use?

I found a .005 copper one on Dave's site it says u may need to stack them would I need only 1 gasket or more?

The reinforced gasket is like the same thickness of the stock one but I haven't checked the squish cause I was told I didn't need to

That top end is a beast I put that same one on my dune runner with a belt drive and rear Dom and I am happy !
