Heat Melting Body

My XB melts my body on the right rear side. How can I prevent this from happening? Has anyone else got this problem? Also the rear body posts melt from the pipe although the pipe is not physically touching them. Can anyone tell me if there are metal body posts or some other way to prevent them from melting?

Aluminum tape inside the body will help. You also might want to drill some vent holes so the heat can escape.

had the same thing with mine. i cut out the window and made a couple of vents and no more problem.

Thanks. But doesn't the aluminum tape reflect the heat back to the engine?

It'll reflect the heat away from the body. When you vent the body, that heat will escape.

What I like to do is cut the whole windshield out in the front. Cut a piece of my rear to compensate with my rear jet pro. This provide enough vent for my XB

Drill vent holes in the front window and aluminium tape in the rear I also cut out the vent holes on the side no more problems.
