ok so i just finally got to take my mt out for its first run.....it ran fine for the first couple mins then i noticed it started throttling on its own so i killed the motor and brought it in.......didnt notice anything wrong......i start it again and the throttle servo starts spazzing causing it to throttle on its own.....i have the hitech 645mg....anyone know wats goin on with my truck?

no im not i never even hooked it up im running the killer bee v2.....i just find it odd that while the motor is off the servo is fine......as soon as the motor starts it spazzes like crazy

Make sure everything is plugged in tight/proper , sounds like might be a loose wire ???? You could also disconnect the kill switch, try one thing at a time though so you will know what is causing the prob....

samething happen to mine, upgrade the radios, works perfect after that:)

i had a similar problem and found that the exhaust pipe would viberate inside the holder and cause feedback from the metal on metal contact. so i pushed some fuel tube over the holder to isolate it from the exhaust pipe. that did it for mine. i notice your from queens so i assume your running in some snow you may have got some water in one of your servos or reciever also, just one more thing to look for

on my truck there is a metal holder loop on the end of the exhaust. it did not have any rubber on it to isolate it from rubbing on the pipe.

ah on the shock tower for the stinger.....it had sum rubber on it but i covered the whole holder loop in tubing now i really hope thats all my problem is.....if not i guess ill just order the futaba 2p radio and rx combo i think its like 100

After I did the killswitch, radio system, and servos, I still found mine to "stick" just a little. It was the throttle linkage. I crossed them over in a "X" and it went away.

Everything everyone has suggested should be done.

well i went over the truck last night.....unplugged everything checked the wiring and plugged everything back in.....the stinger can make contact with any metal anywhere.....and my throttle wasnt sticking it was spazzing out......i cant really go about testing the truck today with how much its snowing and 50mph winds......i really hope it was just a loose wire or sumthing i really cant afford to spend another 115 bux on this thing already .......ive already put like 300 bux into it in a weeks time without even running it yet lol

Do you have another radio to test with? I ran a traxxas AM when I needed to get rid of my spektrum but didnt have money for airtronics or futaba. I used a traxxas 2 ch. Worked great w/no interfernence or glitching BUT it was risky!!! I doulbe checked everything and locktited as neccessary every run. It was only for a few weeks. But thats all I needed to tell me my spektrum wouldnt work with my Rampage. Maybe borrow a radio differnt than you own? Thatll tell you if its the radio.

If it spazzes on the bench w/0 fireing it up there wont be any risk w/swapping in a AM? Batteries charged for sure? Replaced stock on/off switch? Can you swap a different thr/brake to see?

magneto is fine, the throttle servo spazzes while the truck is running only...its only that servo....if it were the radio gear wouldnt they all spaz out? and no unfortunatly i don't have any other radio gear...nor any friends around i could borrow one from

well im gettin about ready to stab sumone....i contacted red cat they told me it could be the steering servos causing a short......so i tried it without the steering plugged in same bs.....idk wtf is causin the feedback on this servo or if its just the servo....for the 30 seconds i got to run the truck it was great....aside from that im pullin out my friggen hair here lol

when i got my truck i also ordered a Core code Tx and Rx, and i get a "similar-ish" problem, when the engine is OFF everything works absolutly fine.

the second i start the engine, all the electronics just stop working completly, as if the Tx has lost signal to the Rx. if i turn the engine off everything works again  so im stuck with the stock rx/tx(stock rx/tx work fine) untill i fine the problem.

the core code tx/rx works 100% fine on my nitro savage Xl

Most of us here have went through the same problems. I thought my first one was RTR but I had to replace the the steering servos, throttle servo, radio system, on/off switch just to drive it. Think of it as ARTR and still cheaper than other 1/5s. My "ARTR" took many tanks to bulletproof. But my HPIs took that long and way more money so redcats good in my eyes.

why did u have the replace the on/off?

i think my problem is probably the reciever.....cuz i noticed with the v2 killer bee theres a bit of a delay from when i turn my tx off till the motor is killed so im thinkin the reciever is to slow or not working right
