HELP,5745 servo installtion problem

hi guys


i started fitting my new dual sterring 5745 servos last night to mt !!


i have problem though.


the 5745 mounting holes are not as wide as the stock crap servos holes.


they wont line up,what do i do now ??


what do you guys do about this and also the wire end plug on the servo hits the servos tower bracket also.


are the billet up grade the same specs as the plastic ones ??


can i modify plastic bracket still to install these ??


have you please got any pics to help explain for what to do ??

You need to cut one of the ears off and use a wider washer. There are pics on here somewhere in 3 or 4 other threads.

I'm at work so I don't have my car in front of me but from what I remember I cut the upper nibs off and mounted the servo on the bottom nibs then redrilled holes for the top and used washers. I'll check again when I get home to be sure.

If your worried about cutting the ears don't be. You can buy spare cases at servocity.com
