Guys I bought 30.5 kit, crank, head, etc.. After putting it together and installing it. I primed it pulled it about 15 times and it finally sputtered like it was going to start. Then all of a sudden to became very hard to pull. Take the plug out spins over no problem. Put the plug back in very hard to pull. Any thoughts?

If it is free when the spark plug is out, and ONLY hard to pull when the plug is in.
I would pretty crtainly say it is the compression of the engine.
Does it bump, meaning feel real hard & then loosen up for just a second ?
If so Sounds like engine compression to me.
Flywheel rubbing is a good cause for this too, but you would feel the drag even with the spark plug out.
