come across a cy engine i have in bits.......and got a couple bits left over

after putting it together:lol:

these are 2 blue plastic washers/spacers ?

8.3mm OD 5.3mm dia hole and 1.6mm thick

any ideas where they go :rolleyes:

those go behind the coil,then coil sits on them then screw it up!

if you have engine assembled you need to remove coil now again to fix it or it won't run properly.

thats what i thought Deck

took another coil off a zenoah and they have slightly thicker spacers as in pic

checked the cy one they have plastic cup type spacers .....now do these

blue spacers pop inside of the cup ones

if so, why have seperate ones ? :(

All the Zen coil spacers I have seen are flat and black like in your picture. All the CY coil spacers I have seen are cups and black like in your picture. On all the CY I messed with you do not put anything in the cup spacers. If the blue spacers you have are thinner then the ones on your Zen starting to think they are not coil spacers but have no idea what they are for.
 
they don't look like anything I have ever seen on a motor. I would put the spacers on make sure the coil lies up with the magnets on the flywheel and set the timimg gap. and run it ...use loctite
