Help!!! Have A 26cc-need A Faster Motor With That Will Drop Right In

i HAVE A 26CC ON MY RAMPAGE, WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST BANG FOR MY BUCK, IS THERE ANY THING BIGGER THAT A 30.5CC THAT WILL DROP RIGHT IN, EVERY TIME i SEARCH FOR MORE CC'S THEY ARE ARIPLANE MOTORS. ARE THEY THE SAME THING...IM PRETTY NEW TO THE 1\5 CLUB, SOME LINKS WOULD BE VERY HELPFULL

Have you already replaced the stock pipe?

Things to upgrade in order of importance vs cost (bang for the buck):


1) Pipe - most speed per dollar


2) Engine - second to the pipe cause a $500 engine is still a turtle with a bad pipe.


3) Wife - Last on the list cause no matter how much money you throw into the upgrade she'll perform the same as the last one after a year or so. :D Sorry I had to add that cause I just got off the phone with mine.

Thats a good one. Pipe's first, motors second. If your talking to the wife she is first but otherwise third.

Isn't that the truth, at least yours "performs" though! Mine is almost like that awesome pipe you buy and break on the first run then you put on the shelf to wonder what might have been! :D
 
98 i have a couple of larger NEW engines that will drop right in, and ill even to a trade in on the 26 if you want.


just ask Demon, he has seen some of my engines and how they run!! :D
 
I have a 30.5 ported engine, a 29cc ported engine, a 4bolt 27.2 ported engine, a 26cc ported engine or i can build what ever you want..


All my engines are new long blocks not used parts.


The only thing i reuse is the case and the crank everything else is new..
 
Before you start looking for bigger motors I would think about one of the ported engine...


Size is not everything, With just the $60 bigbore kit (28.5cc) and a DOM pipe Mine is pretty darn fast. enjoyable anyway :) next on the list is a stroker crank and a ported head, should be even more fun

I can do that to!! LOL


I use only stuffed cranks,throttle responce is 100 times better!!

There are alot of quality builders out there on this forum and others. I find in the 5th scale tight community word of mouth, happy customers and podium spots are the best advertisement. Advertising and sponcer spots on the forums also helps out alot.

I have a 28.5 head kit, can I still get more power with a stuff crank, where and what size to put it, how much power will it make
 
Yea as beast said he is looking at a stock stuffed 28mm crank, the one you linked to is a +1mm stuffed crank.
