I have just bought a FG 4wd Baja Told by model shop to purchase HITEC 5765 X 2 servos for steering and one savox high torque metal geared for throttle. Fell off my chair when he said how much but purchased.. Got servos and were found too small for radio plate. rang shop they said they had forgot to tell me i needed an aluminium plate which will fit the servos. So yet again blew another 21 quid . received today. The plate an FG one is poop oh yes it fits the two servos in but now i cant put radio box in as the cut out is for a brake servo and there is no fastening for battery. Has anyone come across this . i feel ive been had.

Seems like you were very keen to purchase - understandable - and the seller could have been a little more patient and helpful with you than he was ....

For parts options, take a look at Hobbythek in Germany. They're THE place for new FG parts, but even if not purchasing are ALWAYS very helpful with advice and also their site is an excellent source of reference.
