Hello and thanks for taking the time to check this thread.
I have a 5iveT that was a great performer up until I had some bolt issues.
The head bolts loosened up and I blew the paper gasket apart. The truck was running great just little loss of power due to the gasket issue.
I removed the engine and set to change the gasket, New gasket installed re-installed head, now it wont start.
Gets spark also changed to new plug
get tons of fuel - Set needles and cleaned carb, also made sure that the pulse hole was lined up at the bottom of the carb.
seems to have good compression but I have not used a test kit.
here is the RUB, I did a mild port job to the exhaust side of things. Mild as I rounded out the corners of the port only but did not change any profile inside the head. I cleaned the crankcase of any debris prior to reinstall.
Now I can pull it all day and it wont start or even pump like its going to start.
Should I disassemble the motor again?
