hi all,i have a fg marder and i have alloy engine mounts and alloy gear carrier and it keeps throwing the layshaft out of line,as soon as i put the plastic carrier on its fine,i thought it might be a bent gear carrier but its the 3rd one i have tried and it keeps doing the same.:mad:
 
It might be the diff mount to gear carrier brace.If its the original alloy mount ,they are kak.
As Atom says,put a couple of pics up so we can see.

There should be no difference in the two. Are you saying that it makes the gear crooked? You can adjust the mesh of the layshaft to diff gear with your mounts. Need a bit more information on the issue.:helpsmilie:
