Does anyone know if they came up with an update for the Spektrum DX3R ? And if they did, where can I get it? Thanks

i disagree with that, i have had a spektrum dx3s for 4yrs with no issues.had more issues with other brands prior to the spektrum, maybe things have improved buuut not likely, don't waste your money with spektrum.. buy a futaba 4pks

then again to each own, i wouldn't call any radio a waste of money, just the preferences we choose and chose to use

I cant see the point in spending that much cash on a Futaba when it does the same as any mid range radio.

There was a study whereby the Futaba's signal was reliable way after 300m (??) and the Spekky gave up at ~110m.
Don't know the battery conditions, and would have been nice to perform in identical environments where possible.
Personally, after 100m, I can't see which way it's going anyway!!

Al the bat :lol: Must admit tho don't think it be long before I will need some optical correctors
If you can easily see which way the vehicle's going at 100m, you must eat a lot of carrots!!!

I don't go that far away with mine because its too far to run when it grip rolls & ends up on its roof![]()
