Help, rear diff cup grub screw is gone

Rear diff cup grub screw is gone. Will drilling a whole through the diff shaft and through the cup and run a bolt and nut right through it. Will this make it weak or strong? :) thanks.

Never tried it.
It is common on 1/16 and 1/10 Traxxas trucks and vehicles.

My guess is better as designed. Replace the grub screw - use blue threadlock and leave overnight (minimum of an hour or so at least).

Help. what should I do?

Hi guys... b4 I posted sumthin about the rear diff cup drilling... the drilling of the shaft FAILED. So I went amd baught some 5mm grub screws. Now I'm going to take apart the rear diff..., and replace the whole shaft/diff cup/ bearing assembly and it should work. Ill keep yall posted. :sleep:
