As always, “PowerSlave” and I (IMA_MudSlut) were arguing again last night while having some cold brewskis with the rest of our “bashing” friends after having one hell of a day down at the track. No one broke anything though we were driving our trucks and buggies like there’s no tomorrow. Well…except for one runaway XT. Thank God it happened after we installed his new KillerB though. Definitely worth the money he paid for it. Anyway when we went down to “power’s” garage, there it was, our brand new MT! Yeeeeeey!! This beast is huge. Whoever said that the XT looks like a Tonka Toy when you compare these 2 trucks, that dude was right...this thing is Huuuge and weighs about 34lbs. We could not wait, so we ran it for about 10 minutes then stopped. It was kinda late, and we've been drinking too, I told "power" neighbors might call the cops on us again  I wonder if you can get busted for DUI since we've been drinking then I drove the MT...hmmm?? :D So here’s the deal, you guys can help us out. We agreed at the end of the day, we’ll count the votes we get from you guys. Majority wins. So, guys, give us a feedback: We might sell one of the bodies, the tuned pipe and the front lower suspension arm and buy some more aluminum parts.

Excuse the background noise. Keep telling “power” to get a new damn chair! :D lol We got a really sweet deal on this truck. The guy who sold it to us gave us an offer we could not refuse. Just for $30 more, he gave us the Red/Yellow body, a front lower suspension arm and...check this out guys, a brand new still in the bag....Rampage Aluminum Polished tuned pipe. I know the tuned pipe alone is worth more than $30? Am I right?

Body: Green Flame or Red &Yellow Flame? The Red/Yellow Flame body seems a bit thicker than the Black/Green body. Or maybe the beer was just starting to kick in when I tried to bend both of 'em? hmmm.... :D

Wheels: FG or MT Stock Wheels?

Measurements:

FG Wheels: Height – 8 1/4” _ Width – 5”

MT Stock Wheels: Height – 7 ¼” _ Width – 5 1/2

FG Wheels or MT stock Wheels?

I like the oranage flame. Also, I'd run the MT wheels since they are smaller which is easier on your transmission and engine. The MT wheels also have the Rampage 23mm hex which is a hell of alot better than the tiny FG square. FG wheels have a tendency to strip out the hub over time especially on huge wheels like that.

I'll second the orange flame body and MT wheels. I like the fact that the stock MT wheels are bead locks, I could see tearing one of those FG wheels off the rim.

ok, thanks!

That's a good piece of advice guys. Another thing is I need 2 sets of the AMS adapters. I already bought a set@ $85.00. So that's $170.00 for 2 sets of AMS. If I chill with the FG wheels, for $10 more, I could buy a Jetpro or DDM.

Thanks "DemonRC" and "The Newbe" Love listening to the pros coz' when I listen to them and follow their advice, not only do I save money, but a lot of grief too! :D Rampers RULE!!! :D
