I just acquired a v2 mt. It was running perfect. Now, it won't stop revving up when I hit the throttle. The linkage all goes back into place. But, it takes several seconds for it to slow down. Then, it chokes down and i have to let it sit for several minutes before it will crank again. Any suggestions?

By the way. The truck doesn't have an exhaust pipe. Nothing to run out of the back of the truck. Could this be a problem?

I would say yes it is a problem. From what I have been learning the 2 stroke motors need the backpeessure from the pipe or exhaust.

Yes, you need an exhuast for the engine to work right.

My mistake, im just missing the exhaust pipe.

might try richening the low speed needle

Yes clean Carb and try starting with factory settings then tune from there.

Make sure your tank vent isn't clogged. It's the little hole on the gas cap. Also, check for damaged carb or intake gaskets.
