So I installed my aluminum intake wit teflon gaskets, my dt1 filter and stack and copper exhaust gasket. Now when I start it it only runs with the choke on and at high idle. The idle adjusts when I turn the ls screw, stalls when I turn the choke off or give it throttle. Would this be an air leak?

Sounds like it. Did you shorten or use different screws with the aluminum intake? The factory screws are a bit too long. The aluminum intake is a little shorter.

Assemble the intake, the carb and the V-stack off of the engine. Use the gaskets you plan on running, as well. When it's all together, check the back of the intake to see if the carb bolts are sticking out too far. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Depends on the setup. If they are, obviously you'll have to cut them down.

Thanks for the help as always and I'll let you know what happens. And what is the stock carb settings again?

Truck runs strong but after about 10 min it stalls out then takes a few min to start again, why would this be?

I tuned the lsn and it bogs a little before stalling. If I keep the throttle down a little it wont stall.

The pick up is clean and a new filter in the tank I'll set the idle screw when it stops raining and have some time.
