After installing a new steering servo that only lasted a total of 5 minutes, I went to start the truck. It would not hit a lick. replaced the plug, still nothing. I checked to see if it was getting fire and fuel and it was. I reset the carb to factory specs and still nothing. Does anyone have a suggestion? I want to be able to let my grandson play with this thing tomorrow but I can't get it running. Please send suggestions!!
 
yeah. first plug was terrible and soaked in oil. Second plug, after I cleaned out the cylinder was wet
 
If the plug is wet it is flooded. You will need to leave the plug out overnight to let the access fuel evaporate.

If it is really bad you can turn the car upside down and give it a few pulls to clear out any standing fuel in the case.
 
ok I will try that. I will set the settings on the carb to factory, drain the cylinder and wait over night. Hope for better things in the morning. Any suggestions on starting it? Other then what they say?
 
-Only 1-2 pulls with the choke closed, even if you don't get a pop.

-Open the choke and it should now start in another 1-2 pulls.

Thanks for the help. Once I get the feel of how it needs to start I will have it. I know my Stihl blower and weedeater have a certain way to start and if you don't do it exactly the way they say......it won't start. I never heard the pop so I just kept pulling with the choke on. Thanks for the advice, I will give it a try first thing in the morning.

You are the MAN. Just went out and did it your way and it fired right up!! Tomorrow we will get to play on our track. Don't know how well a five year old will do with this thing but we will see!! Thanks again for your help!!
