i was on flat grass pretty boring as im new to this but its all good fun i wanna try a diff surface as it didnt seem to want to turn very well under power but is that just due to rear wheel drive? and they don't like stopping do they well as stock any way and if you brake and turn you tumble as i found out the hummer body is now wrecked i thought these cars wernt that strong but i have had about ten tumbles now and its still running everything is stock enjoy! th_P4170226.webp th_P4170225.webp th_P4170224.webp
 
In the first video the low speed it too lean, I would turn out the ls needle about 1/4 turn. In the last video, it is running properly at first, so I would assume it was just started?

Looks like fun! It's always great when you have a youngster to chase after the truck when it rolls over!

Turn out your LS needle and you should be good to go!

BTW, don't worry too much about the number of turns the needles are... Every motor is different and they may need to be adjusted according to weather conditions. You could have two identical trucks running side by side. One guy could have his needles a half turn in or out from yours to get them to run the same. If you know what I mean.
 
yh trip they were three vids in order from the start! so yes was just from start i was hoping you would see the vids as you can hear if it was lean or not ok ill turn that one out a touch then nice one and yeah its great when the boy there but i let him use it once never again LOL yh i get what you mean about the needles trip its just getting the hang on how to tune them accordingly practice i suppose just hope i don't melt an engine in the mean time thanks once again and your video you done was very helpful.
 
well in order backwards lol never mind i just watched again i see what your saying about the grunty sound when started it dissepears in first 2 vids
 
Yup, in the "Last" video posted it was running better. So you are going to want it to "Sound" like that when the motor is hot.

You'll get it, like you said, you just need to get used to it.
 
yh these things aint as easy as the shops make out to sell you them but they are well worth all the fiddling once you do get to use it even if it is for only ten mins.
 
Once you get the tuning figured out it only takes about 10-15 seconds to get it right. Once the motor is tuned, you probably won't have to touch the needles again. I only tune mine once a year! Just be patient and keep an eye on the plug color.
