Hi, got this from ebay and was told its a fg baja, its 2WD, i have looked at a few photo's and noticed the roll cage is different and so is the battery box so is it a copy ?
The brakes fallen to bits, does anyone know where I can get a spares diag for the brakes.

As said, It is an XRC.Mate,I don't know how much you paid but if it was sold as a Baja then you have a good case.

It cost £124 so even if its not what he said it was its OK, Thanks for the info, will have a dig around for brake bits, looking at the layout it looks very similar to the baja, are the parts interchangeable ?

No, parts are different. I would not just let it be.:no: Report it!
The car is not a big dollar item new. If its a version 1 its worth even less.

Ok now I know what it is, need to get the brakes sorted, had a look around and still cannot find a diagram from the rear twin disk brake, just need the "pads" any ideas ?

About the wrong description on ebay, its a easy mistake to make as the motor had a FG sticker on it, as long as I get some fun out of it not that bothered

ye that's a clone not the best one on the market but it is possible to get it up to scratch but its going to cost a bit. if you do your home work you should be able to find parts for it

Hi, had a look at the 3web sites above and couldent see any sign of xrc, tried nitrotek for the pads no luck, any other ideas for UK spares supplies ?

Well searched the web for ye and found a few web shops that sell the parts so mail them they do English to so no problem

and yep so i ve been told from my friends over here that the fg parts can be used 90% interchangeable but if you look for your self on the web at the fg cars the you will see what i mean also the shocks from hpi should fit to

Sent the people sickboy recomended and waiting for reply, I was thinking that maybe the pads from a Baja or other 5th scale might fit, my Savage ones are close but a tad to small.
Could someone do me a huge favor and measure the diameter of the disks on their machine and the distance between the mounting holes for the pads :helpsmilie: might be able to use the ones ment for another machine

fg 97 are 40mm bolt to bolt... measuring while on engine. i'kk have a duratrax set here in the next day or so to measure those

After all that it seams like Nitrotek has them instock after all, one person said no, another said yes. Orderd some and will see if they turn up, done buy paypal so if no show will get money back.
