Hi all. Was running my MT yesterday after putting a new spark plug, Hitec t/b servo, Hitec single steering servo, and Outerwear pre-filter. Ran it for about 10 mins. Shut it down and changed the t/b servo arm. Ran it for about five mins and then it would only move under super high engine RPMs while not moving with hardly any speed. It sounded like it was topped out. Checked the throttle servo and drive shafts to make sure nothing was broken or loose and it looked good. Still super high RPMs with sluggish movement.

Now it only did this for about 45 seconds. I was going to drive it back to my house when it cleared itself up by itself. Went back to normal RPMs and movement speed. I was just about out of fuel anyway so I shut it down for the night.

Any thoughts on this? It sounded like it might have been some sort of engine issue but not sure. I'm going to run it again today and see how it does. It was just very strange.

my MT did the exact same thing so I shut it down and left it for the day or two and it never did it again but the next time I did take it out the throttle/brake servo went.

Yeah I guess the clutch would make sense. Like it didn't fully engage or something. I don't know enough about motors nor am I mechanically inclined but I just figured single speed wouldn't do something like this.

Yeah, my nitro was doing the same thing and what had happened with it is the screw for the clutch got too lose and I had to tighten it down, I would check the clutch before it's too late and something goes out and then have a bigger issue, also pick up an 8K spring they are pretty cheap.
