That works good. That's how I have done it in the past. Now I'm just lazy and only use a new set. LOL

not a bad idea. some of these springs loose there temper too soon.- an eight thousand rpm spring can become a 7 or less before the shoes are shot.

Depends on your driving style. If you like to blip the throttle, you'll replace them often.

I like to crawl sometimes, this seems to be a clutch eater

Will surely be even worst with a 8000k spring, soon to be installed...

Removing the engine makes it easier. And yeah, crawling will eat clutches!

Pull the engine. It's no extra work, and makes it easier.
