i just received a new hitec 5755 servo, following the advice of several form contributors, indicating it is a good steering servo. so, the problem i just encountered id that the mounting flange is 1/4" narrower then the pre drilled holes. i am installing this servo in a hpi radio box. you guys who have done the replacement with large scale servos tell me what the trick is here. thanks for your help.

get the one side mounted and flex the mount a lil bit, Thats how I did mine and it has worked perfect for me.

no problem bud, the only other option is to get the upgraded servo mount....I forget who makes it though

chad, before i tried your method, i went to my box of left over hpi parts and found an extender which screw on the bottom of the mounting bracket and slides toward center so you can get the servo mount holes to line up! worked great!

lol I even keep broken parts depending what it is....may beable to use it somehow or part of it....lol
