My fairly new hitec servo all of sudden is slowing down in movement. Has this happen to any of you guys. I know this is not a rampage issue but I was just wondering. Probably only have like 2 hrs runtime on it. And I don't have a backup servo. Disappointing.
 
is it a digital servo? if it is watch for magic smoke. i had one that started to lose its magic then puff, up in smoke it went.
 
Sorry for the initial lack of info. It's a analog servo 805mg Hitec. It was never that fast but it's much slower moving now. No smoke.Battery fully charged. Its a steering servo.
 
I see. How's their turn-around time with this type of repair. Just sucks that I just bought it last week.
 
Well Hitec has some great Cust Serv. A Rep said he'll send me out a new servo when I fax him my receipt for the one I bought .
 
Do you have the number for hi tec? I have two servos I need to get repaired or replaced...
 
Hitec's pretty good as far as cust service. They just sent me a replacement because mine was a less than a month old purchase. I do have to send them back the old one though. I ended up buying the HS-5755MG which is really impressive.
