Could be. It's a mighty large whole tho, 8mm or so I'd say. I think it was a fluke piece but just can't remember. I'd hate to throw it away if it turned out to be a hard to find item. Outta all my years of buying FG parts if this was the only dud then that's freakin damn good QC!

I always run a tap into them first.
Makes life easier.

my fg 4wd conversion came with some exactly the same, threadless

I think most parts do regardless of the brand.
