I was talking to a few ppl on line and was told the Red Cat Dune Runner and the Exceedy Barca Buggy are the same car.

I have to say looking at both they are virtually identical.

Any thoughts?

Both are manufactured by HSP. There are some differences. The Redcat parts support is far superior.

Thats what I figured.

I have bought several Helicopters from Exceedy but never new they had cars.

Im staying with red cat, just wanted to see if I was going crazier :)

i have the chassis and its a dune runner chassis shortened and the servo's are mounted on the plastic front top plate ,as is the battery receiver box. it has 2 steering servo's mounted up-side-down and linkage is under plastic plate.gas tank is different size and mounting holes are different from the DR. front center dog bones are shorter too.

I have the barca and yes the are different. But some parts work with both. I like the that the barca has dual servos but the plastic plate sucks. Mine is broken. I am going to use the the dunerunnes top plate as extra support. I had a head on collision and bent the chassis cause not enuf of support there. If was going to buy again I would of got the DR just cause of the par support. But all in all they are both good buggys.
