I think I might need to buy a electric, not becuase my nieghbors never even peek there heads out of there windows/doors cuz they have no personality, but because the power and because I've never had a real electric RC, the onso I had had those crappy brushed motors and was lucky to get 15mph
 
Kinda hard to see with out tearing the trans out. But there lies a top if the line Holmes 13T brushed motor. In the axial. Brushless cams too hard at low speeds for most rc rock crawling. Not to mention I don't think you can have drag brakes set up on a brushless motor either

Yeah but I'm not talking trail trucks, those are different, was talking about basher trucks
 
Yeah it's not fast lol. This set up is capable of 6s. I run on 3s. No need for the extra speed in my case. You gotta remember brushed motors were around for years before brushless. Heck I remember when my great uncle built his first electric rc. Had two 550 motors and ran off NICD batteries. Couldn't touch a .15 nitro but it was relatively quick. Very short run times.
