whats up guys, does anybody here have one of these cars??
i have one and i love the car but im trying to get taller gearing for it and a good top end pipe. im looking for insane speed.

i finally put on good tires (grp soft) they work really well, a lot better then the stock junk.

also thinking of getting the fg 2 speed for it as i was told most fg sportline parts work on this car. yes this is a clone of that car.

I had a hobby pro for a bit. only odd thing is the motor mount, and the tank seal leaked. those cheap pipes aren't actually too bad for what they charge for them, I had one on the semi for a while. the plastic parts are pretty weak though. I saw a slash destroy the back end of the HP before I bought it (firehammer buggy arms are a direct fit, even the dif and outdrives is the same as smart tech.)... if you change gears just get a matching pair and the total of the gears added together has to remain the same

thanks for the input, but what do you mean ( odd thing is the motor mount)??
and my fuel cap leaks also. im going to put a diffrent tank is something with a cap. ya your right about the pipe not bad for what it is but i want more. theres a pipe on rcu its a saba pipe that will fit my car and im talking with the guy so im going to get it.

well if you look at an fg, the motor is on an angle for on roads and nearly upright for off roads... the hp has the motor laying on it's side... so the motor mount is different

can't beat the price of a firehammer mt tank, and it bolts right in. I like the mt tank with the cap that covers. the buggy tank is like the fg solo tank. either bolts in fine, as would an fg tank

and I agree Chris, the GT40 is a sharp looking body
I just upgraded my semi from the same pipe as yours to a modified samba 4. I love the sound, but that pipe did give a considerable performance boost over stock and they are only $50
