No breakage on any of the drivetrain! ....after being out for over an hour, i was ready to call it quits soon, so i just went for it.....pulled a massive jump! 6ft plus... SNAP! both rear shock shafts broke with such force the both springs were logged in the wheels lol  ....Totally Awsome! :D

i did the same thing a few weeks ago. right before i was ready to quit i just lounched it and snap!! both rears exploded. couldnt wait to get rid of them so i didnt have to baby it off the jumps. i did break onother front one that i had on today. i will be ordering 3 more sets of hpi hd shafts and shock bottoms tomorrow. i already have the 2 on the rear of the mt, but need more for the tt. phat slacker still hasnt gottin his done yet wich is ok couse its going to save me $128.00!!

the fit isnt 100% perfect. you need to take a small amount off the suspension arm so the shock end doesn't bind. im not into forcing a part to work or creating one problem to fix another. others have done this as well. i only bought 2 couse i wasnt sure if i had to hack anything away, but it fits well and perform perfect. you need to shim the stock shock piston with 2 small washers so you can tighten up the locking nut. the ramp piston is thinner, so it wont allow you to tighten all the way with out the washer. also swapping out the ramp shock end ball. hpi's shock ends arent threaded in so you cant take it off. works great. you can do all 4 for $64.00.. or wait forever for phat slacker and pay $136..

links below. you need 2 sets of fronts and 2 sets of shock bottoms

my rampage won't see another jump outa me till RPM makes some upper n lower arms.
you have a better chance of getting ice water in hell!!. wont be for a few years. just spring for the alum lower arms and throw all the worries out the window. i spent $200(not all at once) and got alum lowers front and back with stearing mount and stearing arm and my rig is a tank. i can plow anything with no worries. it sucks getting out and making a mistake on a jump and bust up. its the mt tires. kill's everything. for 2 c-notes you wont ever worry again

becouse they still use the same shafts. the only thing that is upgraded is the ressy wich is really nice to have plus pretty cheap

Wow i thought i was the only one that had a spring lodge in the rim. I spent an hour looking for my spring in that field and one of my friends said its jammed in the tire i thought he was kidding. Crazy stuff man

haha! thats crazy! cause i did the EXACT same thing... im out in the field going ... hey wtf? were are my springs......... they vanished!.... they couldnt have gone that far..could they?.... after 10 mins or so i gave up.... i went back to my broken rampage and found BOTH logged.. one in each rim... lmao!

i thought that the rear shocks had more travel than the front...im supposed to use fronts on all 4?

why's that, I've broke one lower arm...boil em it makes them real tough and the newer arms are a different plastic... I just bent a top turnbuckle, split a front gearbox case and popped out the lower arm pin after hitting a concrete object at speed but the arms themselves are intact...it was a big hit trust me...no need for rpm arms

Same... Broke 1 arm(telephone pole), since then I rolled like 25 times... No breakage... Ne way, it's not gunna happen anytime this millenia

to tell you the truth I don't think we need them now...brittle arms have been laid to rest...old news!
i think so too. i broke the stock9boiled) arm on my tt on saturday but the ones in the upgrade kit werent boiled and lasted a pretty sweet thrashing
